We focus on developing and operating essential utilities and outsourcing them to our clients, which allow them to focus on their core business activities. As part of these utilities, Energy Utilities includes services such as consulting, project management, financing options, maintenance and monitoring.
COMPANY HISTORY
BOKSTONE SOLAR FOUNDED (2014)
The company was founded by Henk van der Merwe (Namibian) and Jan d‘Hont (Belgian) with the aim to build an asset portfolio consisting of solar PV systems outsourced to clients on long-term basis.

ENERGY PARTNERS NAMIBIA FOUNDED (2018)
Energy Partners SA acquired shareholding in Bokstone Solar and the company was renamed. Utility portfolio and expertise expanded to include refrigeration, water treatment, utility management and all related engineering consulting services.
ENERGY UTILITIES FOUNDED (2021)
Namibia Infrastructure and Development Investment Fund (NIDIF) acquired 100% shareholding in EP Namibia through its primary investor, GIPF. The company was rebranded as Energy Utilities. The utility portfolio has since been further expanded by executing a healthy pipeline and expanding into Southern Africa.
